The Rides
Knoebels recently installed Scenic Skyway, which provides a grand view of the
park and its huge variety of rides. Twister, Knoebels' longest roller coaster,
joins the legendary Phoenix, rated among the top ten coasters in America. Among
the other 50+ rides at Knoebels, you'll find the Power Surge, a classic Grand
Carousel, skooter bumper cars, and the Haunted Mansion, a spine-tingling indoor
attraction. There are plenty of action-packed rides, laughter-filled shows, and
festive parades ensuring that "I'm bored" are words you won't hear
anywhere in the park.
The Area
Knoebels Amusement Resort is nestled into the forests and valleys of the
Susquehanna River, in the heart of some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in
all of Pennsylvania. You couldn't find a better combination of amusement park
thrills and outdoor beauty than by staying at Knoebels' own campground, which
includes "Cozy Cabins" with many amenities. Be sure not to miss Clyde
Peeling's Reptiland, a specialized zoo north of Knoebels. And, along the
Susquehanna River, enjoy water skiing, fishing, hiking, and a whole lot more at Shikellamy
State Park.

The Valley Gun and Country Club

-The Valley Gun and Country Club near Elysburg hosts the annual Pennsylvania State Trapshoot. The state shoot is the second biggest in the world each year, with the biggest being the grand American Shoot in Vandalia, Ohio in August.

The Whaleback

The Whaleback is a unique geological rock formation resembling the shape of a whale. The 300-ton wonder is over 200 million years old, and was discovered during strip mining operations in 1948. This site is located near Shamokin in the Village of Bear Valley.
